In a view to strengthen and operationalize the county’s agenda through wealth creation, the department of Agriculture, Livestock Vet science, Fisheries and irrigation developed strategies of their value chains as a roadmap to actualizing the agenda.
The team engaged stakeholders through the County Agriculture Sector Steering and Coordination Mechanism (CASSCOM),a body responsible for coordinating and steering the agricultural sector in counties to bring them up to speed on the overall county agenda and in particular the value chains strategies.
