The County is host to Rimoi National Reserve, an animal conservation reserve located in Kerio Valley.
It is known for its scenic landscapes, featuring rugged hills and a vast savanna that is home to a variety of wildlife including elephants, antelopes, baboons, and a wide range of bird species.
Rimoi reserve offers visitors a chance to experience wildlife in a relatively peaceful and uncrowded environment, making it a great spot for nature lovers and safari enthusiasts.
Beside the herds of Jumbo, other animals can also be seen at the reserve some of which are: zebras, impalas, giraffe, monkeys, bush pigs, warthogs, dikdik, pangolins, Civet and others.
Rimoi is about 40 kilometers drive from Iten town off the Eldoret-Iten-Kabarnet-road. It is located along Biretwo-Tot road. It borders Kerio River that flowsnorthwards towards Lake Turkana to the east, and which also separates Elgeyo Marakwet and Baringo
Counties.
