H.E Governor Wisley Rotich today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with SHM Foundation Africa, a non-governmental organisation to improve the livelihoods of County residents, especially in Sibow, Endo Ward.
The partnership will be aligned with the Governor’s wealth creation strategy, whose approach aims to unlock rural prosperity by improving household earnings.
The MoU will cover Creative Economy, Governance and Institutional Strengthening, Education, Community Wellbeing and Mental Health, Climate and Natural Resources, and Research and Knowledge Exchange.
The SHM Foundation Africa team was represented by its Board Chair, Prof. Henrietta L. Moore and Foundation Director, Rose Waithaka.
Present were County Secretary Lazarus Chebii, Festus Kirop, (Endo MCA) CECs Alphaeus Tanui and Monica Rotich, COs Elizabeth Korir, Paul Ruto and Lorna Kipsang, among other county staff.
