The Department of Youth Affairs, Sports, Culture, Children & Social Services today hosted a colourful cultural festival in Endo Ward.
The festival follows a similar one held in Soy South in Keiyo South almost a fortnight ago meant to preserve and showcase the rich Elgeyo Marakwet Culture.
Deputy Governor Prof Grace Cheserek, donning a befitting cultural attire, presided over the Endo festival and affirmed the County Government’s commitment to support the preservation of Culture in the County.
She welcomed the move by the national government to hand over museums in the Country to County Governments saying this will serve as hubs to preserve the cultural heritage of host communities.
