Deputy Governor H.E Prof Grace Cheserek met representatives from Mediheal Group of hospitals who paid her a courtesy call where they discussed on ways to strengthen partnership between the two organizations.
Mediheal agreed to scale medical screening camps in Elgeyo Marakwet County and conduct sensitisation on chronic diseases.
From the arrangement, the mediheal team has promised to join the county on the free screening camp scheduled for the 25th February 2023 at Kapkoi and members of the public are encouraged to attend.
This is in line with H.E Governor Wisley Rotich’s AFYA BORA program which seeks to scale up medical screening camps.
The Public/ Private Partnership deals will also focus on skill development and equipping health facilities besides sensitization.
