19,000 learners access digital learning as county implement EIDU Program
More than 19,000 learners in Elgeyo Marakwet County will benefit from the EIDU digital learning program
EIDU is a digital learning partner that works with governments to provide cost-effective and scalable digital learning solutions in schools.
In its first phase, learners from 264 Early Childhood Development Centres will be equipped with digital tools to enhance foundational literacy and numeracy.
According to the Education County Executive Committee Member (CECM) Purity Koima, the digital learning program will provide students and teachers with educational content that aligns with the government’s competency-based curriculum (CBC) through learning devices.
EIDU aims to revolutionize the county’s education system by integrating high-impact interventions into a user-friendly system accessible to teachers, students, and support staff.
Present at the launch were EIDU officials, led by Regional Manager Mrs. Lilian Omondi, education chief officer Paul Rutto, Directors Paul Tenoi, Samuel Kipchumba, among other county staff.
