Governor Wisley Rotich on Monday commenced Ward development tours beginning with Arror where he had a long day of interaction with the locals.
The County boss inspected several completed projects, as well as others that are at different levels of construction.
He also distributed cheques to Barsumbat, St. Benedicts Girls, Koitilial, and Kapkata Secondary Schools to boost student enrollment.
Additionally, farmers from the Kabonon–Kapkamak Irrigation Scheme benefited from the programme.
To date, the Governor says his administration has done the following projects and programmes in Arror Ward:
Health Facilities:
• Upgrading of Kapchemutta Health Facility, which includes:
– Construction of a modern OPD
– Construction of Male and Female Wards
– A minor theatre
– Equipping the facility with single-crank beds, a dental chair, wheelchairs, cabinets, laptops, waiting benches, and curtains
– Construction of an incinerator
• Construction and equipping of Tunyo Funeral Home
• Construction of Kapkata Dispensary ablution block
• Renovation of Kapkata Dispensary
