Flax Health Centre Outpatient Department (OPD) in Chepkorio Ward has been commissioned.
The Health centre has also been upgraded to Level Two facility.
The health centre now has an operational laboratory equipped with a full haemogram machine to improve diagnosis.
Other facilities include: Portable Point-of-Care Ultrasound (POCUS) ultrasound device that allows healthcare providers to perform real-time diagnostic.
The facility has additional Two consultation rooms, a minor theatre, procedure room, observation area and staff boardroom.
The facility is also adequately stocked with drugs.
