The Department of Health and Sanitation in partnership with World Vision Kenya ADS-North Rift Region amongst other partners, led by CECM Monicah Rotich, commemorated Global Handwashing Day in Kapcherop. The event that brought together stakeholders and partners to sensitize the public on the importance of handwashing.
Emphasis on handwashing with soap and clean water to prevent infections and protect public health took the centre stage, a call that was echoed by all partners.
The CECm led the Launch of water tank and handwashing container which will be distributed to public places.The Initiative that will promote household and community hygiene through behavior change and partnerships.
