The Council of Governors, in partnership with FAO and the European Union, celebrated a milestone in GIS adoption with the graduation of County and CoG, GIS trainees.
The program is geared towards ensuring adoption of GIS, which will transform
sectors like revenue collection, land use planning, and healthcare.
The council of governors is committed to Ensuring GIS-based land use plans, capacity building, and resource allocation to Benefit counties in Smarter, evidence-based, and citizen-centered governance
The event marked a significant step in strengthening county capacity for digital governance.
Among the graduands included.
Brian Kipsang, Vincent Kigen, Philip Kipchumba and Josphat Kerich Graced by CECm Thomas Maiyo – Lands, Physical Planning Housing and Urban Development and Chairperson sectoral Committe Joseph Chebet.
