CPSB launches second 5-year Strategic Plan…

The County Public Service Board (CPSB) on Thursday launched a 2024-2029 Strategic Plan aimed at taking it to the next level.
Acting Board Chair, Dr. Sally Kimosop, outlined a 7 point overview of the Strategic Plan that spans various service delivery aspirations it hopes to achieve.
They included;
▪︎ Improvement of staff performance and productivity
▪︎ Improve value system
▪︎ Promote innovativeness
▪︎ Improve corporate governance
▪︎ Motivate, Empower & Synergise staff
▪︎ Plan and budget for Human Capital
▪︎ Promote Information Sharing
▪︎ Statutory reporting and feedback mechanism
Present during the colourful event were Chief Guests Chairman West County CPSB, Mr. John Martakou and his Uasin Gishu Counterpart, Francesca Boen.
Both congratulated their Elgeyo Marakwet counterparts for coming up with a very progressive Plan that mirrors the realities and interventions needed in public service.
Others in attendance were a representative from the Parliamentary Service Commission, Chelanga Maiyo, Hon MCAs led by Chair Administration Committee, Paul Suter, County Assembly Clerk Jane Mutai, among other County staff.
