County First Lady Fiona Cheby Kiprotich hosted students from Metkei Girls High School for breakfast at her Nairobi home.
The top achievers students from each class who score a mean grade of A are rewarded with a flight to Nairobi each year.
Mrs. Rotich commended the students for their exemplary work and urged them to take their studies seriously.
“Hardwork is costly but rewarding. You have to sacrifice in order to succeed. Take your studies seriously. All this should be capped with discipline,” she said to the students.
School principal Mrs. Rosemary Kuto, who accompanied the students, thanked the Mrs. Rotich for having time to host them.
The students had also visited parliament building, Treasury, Nairobi National Park, and Uhuru Park
