The construction of 50,000 cubic meters Chebagon dam and the rehabilitation of Emsoo dam has officially kicked off.
This will lead to economic revolution in Emsoo Ward as area residents will venture in irrigated agriculture.
The area is known for the production of onions and vegetables which include tomatoes.
Works include extension of pipeline, construction six extra tanks, and ronovation of the existing ones along Kapchelal and Kokwao lines.
Chebagon dam will serve Kokwopsingo and Kapkei areas.
Present included area Mp Hon Adams Kipsanai KVDA MD Sammy Naporos, Chair Mark Chesergon, MCA Christopher Cheboiboch and other county staff.
