A delegation from Bomet County, led by Health CEC Joseph Sitonik, visited Elgeyo Marakwet County today for a fact-finding mission on the operationalisation of the Emergency Medical Centre at Iten County Referral Hospital.
The team was taken through the county’s ambulance service coordination framework, which features a centralised call centre designed to connect ambulances with healthcare facilities. This system enables real-time, 24-hour tracking of all ambulance movements across the county.
