Aligning Wealth Creation Policy in Elgeyo Marakwet is taking shape in earnest.

The County Government through financing locally led climate action (FLLoCA) is supporting farmers in acquisition of fruit trees and fruits trees that will see thousands of farmers earn a living through cash crop.
Through ongoing identification and validation of farmers, Kamariny ward registered over 500 farmers who are set to benefit from 15,000 Avacado seedlings and 12,000 exotic seedlings.
In Emsoo ward Over 300 farmers were validated and they will be supplied with 22,800 Coffee Seedlings, 4,800 Mangoes and 70 water liners that will see them harvest thousands of litres of water.
In Kapchemutwa Ward, 9,920 Avacado seedlings will benefit over 350 farmers. while in Lelan Ward, 500 farmers will be supplied with 23,500 tree tomatoes and some 15,000 assorted Exotic trees will be shared among 500 farmers across the ward.
Cherangany/ Chebororwo Ward, 14,500 Coffee Seedlings will be shared by lead farmers and 3,120 Avocado, 5,000 assorted exotic trees will see 500 farmers share equitably.
While in Tambach ward, 500 farmers were registered and validated to benefit from 19,000 coffee seedlings, 4,000 Avocado seedlings and in lower Tambach, 70 farmers will benefit from water liners and others will grow 6,320 mango seedlings.
Farmers in Metkei ward gathered at Kamwosor Ward office to identify and validated farmers to benefit from 7000 avocadoes and 4800 seedlings of coffee seedlings.
Whereas in Sengwer ward, some 300 farmers were validated to benefit from 9,000 ovacado and 24,500 exotic tree seedlings.
