The inaugural County Agricultural Exhibition and Field Day held in Marakwet West Sub County was a huge success.
The exhibition brought together 42 exhibitors at Chebara Agricultural Training Centre (ATC) and attracted more than 2,000 farmers.
Pleased with the organisation and turn out of the event, H.E Governor Wisley Rotich announced that going forward, Field Days ,which are integral in farmer training will be held in every Ward.
“Famers will have an opportunity to interact with buyers, marketers and seed producers, a move that will improve productivity and farmer earnings from agricultural ventures,” he said.
