History is about to be made at Kessup forest, kameza Block as Mr. Hillary Kiplagat Kibiwott “Buzeki”took on a Guinness World Record attempt to plant 24,000 trees in 24 hours.

‎The marathon tree-planting challenge began today Wednesday, April 23, at 11:00 AM and will ran nonstop until 11:00 AM Thursday, April 24, under the theme _“24 hours. 24,000 trees. ONE unstoppable mission.”

‎Community members turned out in large numbers to support Kibiwott, bringing energy and witnessing the record attempt LIVE.

‎“I joined Mr. Hillary Kiplagat Kibiwott today as he took on this LEGENDARY challenge,” said Governor Wisely Rotich. “I want to appreciate our community for turning up, bringing the energy, and witnessing greatness unfold. I’m proud to have played my part and supported our son as he makes HISTORY.” he added .

‎Organizers said the attempt is aimed at setting a new global benchmark while making a bold statement on climate action for future generations.

‎If verified, the feat would officially enter the Guinness World Records as the highest number of trees planted by an individual in 24 hours.
