H.E Prof. Grace Cheserek, the Deputy Governor, hosted the Judiciary this morning as they plan to open two new courts in the county.

‎The courts, shall be located in Chesoi, Marakwet East, and Chepkorio, Keiyo South, aim to bring judicial services closer to residents, saving them time and money.

‎

‎Residents have long been seeking justice services far from home, as many had to travel to Iten or neighboring counties like Trans Nzoia and Uasin Gishu for court services. The new courts are expected to improve access to justice and reduce costs for residents.
