KDSP II is a Performance related grant targeting three Key Results Areas(KRAs) of sustainable financing and expenditure management, which supports national and county government initiatives towards strengthening intergovernmental coordination, institutional performance, Human Resource Management (HRM), oversight, participation, and accountability that looks at improvements in oversight, participation, and accountability.

The exercise is part of the resource mobilisation strategies the county is adopting by improving government operations for effective service delivery to the residents and other stakeholders.
