By May 25, 2024 No Comments

Governor Rotich has laid the foundation stone of a 26-bed Mother and Baby unit at Tot Sub County Hospital, Endo Ward Marakwet East Sub-County.

The hospital will be one of its kind in the Kerio Valley belt. It will have a fully equipped morden New Born Unit, a theatre, antenatal & postnatal wards, and a delivery unit. When complete, the facility will cater for all mothers in the entire Kerio Valley.
I would like to thank Safaricom Mpesa Foundation for the partnership.

Construction works of the Sh40 Million facility commences immediately. It is expected to be completed by the 5th of October.

At the same time, I assessed the ongoing construction works of Tot Out Patient Department (ODP).

Present were MCAs Paul Suter, Peris Kiptoo, Joseph Chebet, Jeremiah Biwott and Deputy Speaker Paul Kipyatich. Others were CECs Edwin Kibor, Robert Kangogo, and staff from the health department led by CO Jeremiah Chirchir.
