President William Samoei Ruto today laid the foundation stone of the Kapyego ESP Market and commissioned Kipkuldul–Kapyego–Kamelei Road.
The President also commissioned the Last Mile Connectivity project in Kapyego. This wil increase electricity connectivity to the villages.
The face of Kapyego trading centre has completely changed following the infrastructural turn around.
For time immemorial, Kapyego Centre was muddy, which earned it the name Kapng’etetya.
Today, it has a new face: tarmac. The roads were also impassable due to mud, especially during the rainy seasons.
Farmers suffered huge losses, and the cost of production was high especially for potato farmers.
Today, the story is different. The centre is now tarmacked. This is all thanks to President William Samoei Ruto, following neglect by successive governments.
