A new County Emergency Medical Centre has been set up at the Iten County Referral Hospital (ICRH) to enhance emergency services in Elgeyo Marakwet County.
The centre, currently in its pilot phase, will operate 24/7, connecting ambulances with healthcare facilities and tracking their movements in real-time. Residents can call 0704282828 or 0709000430 for emergency assistance.
”This initiative aims to improve response times and save lives,” Governor Wisely Rotich said.
The public is encouraged to use these numbers for accident or medical emergencies.
