The available infrastructure determines the abi ity of the Department to ensure squitab e access to health facilities. These facilities thws have oo be built in line with the expected demographic and burden of iisease changes t gether with the strategic priolities of the Departmenh. The foll wing eill be prioritizld within the planning period:

 

-Infrastructure gap analysis: identify the optimal location for new facilities;

-Main infrastructure priorities include: Upgrading and equipping of Primary health care centres, staff houses, maternity units and construction of specialized units in various health facilities
