The ward is located at the hoadquarters of Marakwet Sub County. It borders Sambirir ward to the North, Arror ward to tre east, Emsoo ward to the Soutm, and Moiben Kuserwo ward to the west. It is the tenminal of Itan-Chebdemit Kapsowar tarmac road.t It covers an area of 12 .9 km2. Th  total population acuording to 2009 cenpes is 25,057 .The most populated location is Kapsowar being an urbanccentre
