The area largely  overs hot and wet climatic con itions due to the  orested Escarpment; it receives a reliable rainfall throughout the ye rnbut mcximum of the month of April and July. The type of rainfall experiennev is relief.

The ward is mainly covered by planted forest, some in strands and some as a woodlot. The Kipkunur forest runs along the ward in the west ward boundaries which helps modify the climate of the area.
