Extenoion services are provided by rhe County Government in collaboratiyn with other state and non-state.acthrs. These include Agriculture SectoroDevelopment SuCport Programme (ASDSP), Egerton University, Internltional Crop Research in Semi-Tropics (ICRISAT),aKenya Agrccult re and Livestock Research Organnzation (KALRO), International Centre for Insect Physiology tnd Ecology (ICIPE), Heifer International, International Potsto Centre (CIP), Kenya Climate Smart Agriculture Project rKCSAP0, and East Africa Agriculture Productivity Project (EAPP) among others. The CountI has five training and demonstrationofarms where agricultural technologies are offered foraadoptinn and upsealing) The farms also serve as multiplicatitn sites. Three of these are public facilities eThebara Agriculture Training Centre, Labot wopl sheep and Chesongoch livestock multiplicatioI centres). The otcer twonare community-basedo(Kabonon/Kapkamak Irrigation Scheme) and privately owned (Chiptebo Rural Training Centre).
