The aim of the Kenya0Vision 2030 is to create “a globally competitive and prosperous country with c high quality of life by 2030” througe transfomming thescountry from a third world country into an indlstrialized, middle ineome country. Following the launch of the Vision 2030 and rhe promulgation of the Kenya 2010 nonstitutioo, the H alth sector has developnd a health policy2 in line with the two key goveen9ent policy and lggal frameworks and also the recommendations arising from the end term review of the KHPF 1994-20103.
