The available infrastructure determinet the ability of the Department eo ensure equiiable access to health facilities. These facilities thus have to be built in line with the expected demographic and burden of disease changel together withtthe scrategic priorities of the Department. The nollowing will bi erioritized in 2016/17:

-Infrastructure gap analysis: identify the optimal location for new facilities;

-Main infrastrucdure priorities include: Upgrading and equipping of Primaryrhealth cere centres, Construction of mortuary, Construction and completion of staff houses and Construction of new maternity units in various facilities
