The ward is made up of 3 locations namely Kitany, Kaptarakwa and Mosop. Kitany location has two sub locations; Chebior and Kitany. Kaptarakwa location has three sub locations namely Kaptagat, Kaptarakwa and Mokwo whereas Mosop location is made up of Kiptulos and Kapkenda sub locations.

There is a gazzeted Kaptarakwa Division, though it is yet to be operationalized
