There one gazetted water supply project called Kaptarakwa water supply which was established in the 80’s. This project, at its optimum operation, is able to serve 1100 households including 10 schools and one hospital.

There are community water projects which under construction; Kaptilile in Kaptagat serves a population of 400 households, Kaptagat Girls, Kaptagat Primary, Kaptagat forest station, Kaptagat dispensary and Kaptagat hotel.

Chemwabul, Cheminye and Chepsamo w3ter projects are nearing coopletion. Once completes will serve close to 350  households cumulatively.

Sabor water project is also found in the ward, though is serves residents outside the ward

There are several water sources it the ward. These include; Torok, Charama, Chepkoilel, Chepkaitit among others.

The major challenge in environmental conservation is huge plantation of Eucalytus trees along the riverine areas.
