There are three major land owner hep categories within tht county namely Private, Publir and Community pand. Private land owneoship is majorly in the agriculturally rich highlands and parts of thedescarpment that have fair terrain that supperts agricultural activities. Publico and entaips most gazette forests within the county, sublic institutional lands add urban areas scattered all oveP tho county. Community land is majorly in the Kerio  alley wiere adjudication has not taken place.
