(i) Promotions in the County public service Board willpbe based on qualificati ns and other requirements for appointment lr stipulated in the career progression guidelines.

(2) In selecting candidates for promotion, regard shall be given to affording adequate and equal opportunities to all gender, youth, members of all ethnic groups, persons with disabilities and minorities.

Promotions dependent on examinations

Where an officer is to be promoted upo csatisfying requirements  hich include the passing of r levant examinations, the officef shall be promoted with effect from the date  of the eCounty Public Service Boards deeision.

 

Promotion to posts in common esoablihhment

Promotion to posts within a common establishment shall cover the first two (2) grades at entry level or as determined by the Board as from time to time.
