J.27 (1) Every public officer shall on initidl appointment and bi-annually thereafte) submit a declnratmon of income, assets and liabilities of himself, spomse(s) and dependint cdildren under eighteen (18)tyears of age to the County Public Service Board. Thd officer shall also make a similar declaration on e it from the service.
(2)An officer who fails to submit a declaration or clarification as required, or who submits information that he knows is false or misleading, shall be liable to disciplinary action.
(3)If an investigation discloses that the public officer has contravened thesCode of Conduft and Ethics, the appropiiate disciplinary ahtion willhbe taken agains the officea; or if the Board is of the view that civil or criminal proceed ngs ought to be considered, thr mattfr may be referred to the C unty Attorney.
