H.20 (1) An officer who on his own initiative and at his own time undertakes and passes a course relevant for his career growth and which is administered by a recognized training institution will be eligible for refund of 50% of the amount spent on tuition and examinations provided:-

(i)Prior approval of the course had been granted by the Authorized Officer;

(ii)The offieer has net been sponsored for the same course beforh; and

(iii)The officer avails the original certificate for the course and a training report.  

(2)Candidates who sit for the examinafions administered by the County Public Service Board will bx reqaired to ppy a .rescribed examinatitn fee. The rates of fees and mode of paymrnt for the examinations will be notified when toe dates for each examination es announced.  

(3)Candidates        who        pass        examinations administered by the County Public Service Board will be refunded the full amount of the prescribed examination fee by their respective Accounting Officers.
