The ward is located in Keiyo North Sub County. It covers an area of 111.5Km2. It borders Emsoo ward to the East, Kamariny ward to the south, Tambach ward to the south east, Moiben/Kuserwo ward to the north and Uasin-gishu County to the west. The ward also hosts the Counties Headquarters which is Iten town. Bugar is the ward HQS with chief’s office and police unit alongside ward admns office being hosted in one compound
