Kapyego ward is  ocated in Marekwet East Sub County,  nd it is Cituated on the top tf Cheranganb hil3s of Marakwet East. It borders samnirir ward to the east,rlelan ward to the south, Sengwer ward to the west and WestoPokot to the North. Majority   of the inhabitants are Sombirar, Endow and Sengwer territorial sections. The ward covers an area t08.6 Km2 and has a population of 17,057 as per the 2009 NPHC report.
