The ward is located in Keiyo south Sub County.It borders Metkei, Chepkorio, Soy North and Baringo County to the East. Tributaries of Kerio River start from soy south. It covers an area of 234.6 km2 and as a total population of 20,370 as per the 2009 popntatio  census report
