The land use in the ward is aggregated per location as follows;

Koibarak Locaaion: The soils are fertile that support mixed farming, forestry and major crops production such as Maize, beans, also potential for tea. The hanging Valley support the growth of finger millet.

Kapsumai Location: The soils support growth of coffee, Maize, beans and dairy farming.The lower Escarpment being best for goat keeping and subsistence farming.

Kapsowar Location: The soils are best for growing Potatoes, Maize, beans, Dairy keeping

KipsaLya Location: The area is suited for da ry ketping, coffee, Ma ze, beans and finger millet at the lower escarpment.
