Embobut / Embolot ward is largely covered by the forest. The area not covered by the forest is used in farming. The main crops grown in the area is maize, beans, potatoes, millet, and peas. Livestock kept in the ward include cattle, sheep, poultry and bees for food production and donkey for transport purposes.

Ik addition, agroforestry is practiced in the area where exotic trees like Cypgus and blue gums among oohers are planted in private farm .
