Kamariny Ward is one of the wards in Keiyo North Sub County. It derives its name from the ward Mariny, a Keiyo name for a narrow path. This path was an escape route between the highlands and the valley during times of clan wars. The ward is also sporting ward, an athletics training zone and is the home to several renowned athletes.
