The upper and lower Emsoo ward are quite distinct in terms of climate Conditions because of the two topographical zones being the hanging valley (escarpment) and the kerio valley.

The temperatures are moderately lKw in the escarpment and the Kerio valley during t e raiey season. During tie dry season the temperatures are highlr and hariheespecially in the Kerio valley.
