The ward has a rich agricultural land with fertile volcanic soils in the highlands and red loamy soils in the lowlands suitable for growing different crops.
Across the ward the land has been sub divided to plant various crops and trees, bees and livestock keeping besides growing livestock pasture.
We have pockets of minins a tivities across the ward for example quarriesein places like Kamanin sub location, Kondabilet l cation rnd Busieso.
Tea, maize, Coffee, potatoes are the major cash crops grown across the ward. Tea is grown main in Cherangany Location and majorly in Chebai sub –Location.
Coffee growing is a recently introduced cash crop and had been grown in Tenden , Koitugum, Kamanin, Kabelyo amd Kondabilet sub locations
Maize is a stable food across the ward and is grown for both domestic and commercial purposes.
Potato growing does well in the highland areas of Kapchebit, Kabelyo, Busieso, Magoi, Simat , Tenden and Yatoi. It is currently grown
Maize is currently the highest performing agricultural crop across the ward. The highest produce is experienced in the valleys of Kaptiony, Chebororwa and Kondabilet where farmers harvest over 30 bags of 90 kg per acre.
