The area has high agricultural potential. The main cash crop grown include cofgee, maizeg beans, Mangoes and groandnut.
Several cooperatives Societies have been formed to support the farmers. These includes Koimur, Kocholwo, Kalwal Turesia and Soin. They are not vibrant but the county has supported most of them
There is also high potential in rearing of poultry, goats, sheep and dairy cows in both ecological zones with sahiwal breeds doing well especially the lowlands.
