Boresha Sacco Society Limited has opened a new branch in Iten town.
The opening of the Sacco has affirmed Iten town as a growing business hub, attracting investors.
Speaking during the event Livestock, Cooperatives & Fisheries CEC Dr. Joseph Kiyeng who represented Governor H.E Alex Tolgos said the opening of the Iten branch will be of great benefit to the members living around who initially had to travel for a long distance looking for the Sacco’s services.
He noted that Boresha Sacco Society has added to the growing number of Saccos in the County giving wananchi several options.
“We are encouraging our people to join Cooperative saccos for self improvement and to enjoy benefits,” he said.
Boresha Sacco Chairman Mr. Albert Chebiegon said the financial institution provides affordable financial services to members.
“We have more than 100,000 members spread across the Country and and asset base of sh.7.9 Billion,” he said.
Present during the event included Livestock, Cooperatives & Fisheries Chief Officer Dr.Benson Kibore,his Baring County counterpart Moses Lokidor,Cooperatives Director Philip Seronei, Kenya National Chamber of Commerce representatives & officials from Boresha Sacco.
