On Monday 20th November 2017, Elgeyo Marakwet County flagged off essential medicines and non pharmaceuticals worth Ksh 41 Million for all the health facilities in the County. This will go a long way in ensuring that there’s no shortage of life saving medications for our patients. The Kenya Medical Supplies Authority (KEMSA) liaison officer Mr. Daniel Ndinguri reiterated that Elgeyo Marakwet County has been in the forefront in procurement and management of medicines and ensuring their rational use. 

The function was officiated by CEC Health and Sanitation Dr Kiprono Chepkok and County health staff.
